The sign on the really nice clubhouse says that they play on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 7 PM and everyone's welcome. I think, though, that we'll pass for this week, as the snow is likely a little too deep at present.
Basically, N'Kwala Park consists entirely of the lawn bowling club, which is referred to as "new" on Merritt's
Parks Page. It's a beautiful club, with a nice bent grass court and a spiffy clubhouse, and even flowers strewn about. There's plenty of parking available right in front of the clubhouse.
Over the Nicola River on a footbridge from behind the court is Lions Memorial Park, a recommended place for travellers for a lunch/picnic stop with good washroom facilities.
