Most locals know of the rocky hill named Lizard Butte. From a distance it really does look like a giant lizard on a rock. This is a beautiful area close to the Snake River. The best way to experience this simulacrum is from the nearby town of Marsing. Many people go through this area to hunt or go to the famous Given’s Hot springs which is north west of this location. To the southeast is the ghost town Silver City.
