In South Kingstown, on the east side of the university quad, is this tree dedicated to David D. Alling.
The tree is located off Upper College Road. We parked in a public lot to the east of the Fine Arts Building. There are stone grey buildings surrounding the quad. This tree is located on the east toward the northeast corner of the quad, in a lawn apart from other trees.
The tree is about 30 ft in height and is a deciduous tree, though I couldn't determine the type or species from there. Beside is a post with a plaque stating the following:
"David D. Alling
B.S. 1997
Environmental
Management
URI Earth Day Organizer
In Loving Memory
from His Family"
Location of the tree: On the University of Rhode Island Main Campus, on the east side of the quad.
Type of tree: deciduous - no leaves were on it
