Long Description:The White Rock Forge Covered Bridge in on White Rock Road, on the
Little Britain/Colerain Township line's.
The bridge was built in 1847 by builder John Russell with an
upward curved floor, known as a camber floor. In June of 1884, the
bridge was destroyed by a wind and rain storm. The bridge was
rebuilt by builder Elias McMellen in September of that same
year.
White Rock Forge Covered Bridge is a one span bridge, 113 feet 1
inch in length by 14 feet in width. The bridge is owned by
Lancaster County, and in good condition today.
Bridge is also known as West Octoraro 2 Bridge.
