David Douglas is the largest high school in Oregon with a student enrollment of approximately 3,200. This four-year high school campus is located in southeast Portland. The school's athletic teams compete in the 6A "Mt. Hood Conference," which includes eight schools from the Portland metro area, east of the Willamette River. This on-campus stadium is home to David Douglas football and track & field. School colors are scarlet & gray and the mascot is the "Scots," typically represented by a cartoon Scotsman in a kilt with bagpipes. The school won state football championships in 1960 and 1965 at the Class A-1 level; their most recent deep playoff run was a trip to the quarterfinals in 1993.
