Created of welded heavy architectural steel girders and plates, this piece now has what's commonly known as a nice patina. Somewhat "Cubist" in nature, it consists of many straight lines intermingled with long, graceful curves. There is, unfortunately, no plaque at the site to apprise us of its creator nor its date of creation. We do know, however, that it was placed some time after 2012.
The abstract is mounted about four feet above street level on what was once a cubical concrete planter which has been filled in and the top covered with concrete pavers.
