The Dunes Track was constructed by the local Bushcare group & runs along the edge of the dunes which line 7 Mile Beach. You walk through bangalow forest & are able to take side paths to the beach. The walk connects the picnic area beside the bird sanctuary along the river to the Surf Life Saving Club at the northern end & is denoted as a red line on the map.
