Near the southwest corner of the large park, just east of the circular rose garden, stands this bandshell which was sponsored by the Rotarians. On a concrete foundation, it is a fully enclosed brick structure with a steel roll-away door on the front of the stage and a cantilevered overhang protecting the front of the stage.

According to the Kamloops Parks Department the bandshell sees a lot of action through the summer, with music in the park being performed every might through July and August - and it's free! The music runs the gamut from Classical to oldies and classic rock to Reggae, Folk, Blues, Celtic and Country. A little something for everyone.

All summer long you can enjoy FREE nightly, musical entertainment by local, national and international musicians. Performances are held at the Rotary Bandshell in scenic Riverside Park downtown Kamloops from 7pm to 8:30pm. Music in the Park kicks off on Canada Day, July 1 and runs until August 31.
