Cut Mark On North East Portal Of Gannow Tunnel On Leeds Liverpool Canal – Burnley, UK - U.K. and Ireland Trigpoints on Waymarking.com

This tunnel was constructed around 1796 when the canal was extended from Gargrave to Burnley. The cut mark is underneath a British Waterways information sign. It is in good condition apart from the right hand downward line of the arrow which is rather faded.
