The public entrance to the Salem department is tucked into a ground floor part of the Salem civic center. So, to stand out, they have a bright blue neon sign above the door. Effective, and indicative of a police force that thinks outside the box a bit. I know, because I've tutored some of their rookies on GPSr use and geocaching.
