Located on FM-362 in North Waller County (near the Grimes County line), the old Reid's Prairie Baptist Church was organized in 1890 with a total of 17 members. Its old 1895 church cast iron bell is on display near the old church building, next to a Texas historical marker which reads:
"Organized Aug 24, 1890 with 17 members.
Sanctuary built, 1895 on Navasota Stage Road.
Recorded Texas Historic Landmark - 1965"
