Located at 510 East Columbia Avenue (US 1) in Leesville, SC the current main sanctuary of this church was built in 1908 and has had several additions since. The cornerstone is on the right of the main doors when facing the church from the road.

The M.E. South stands for Methodist Episcopal Church South, which merged with the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1939, and then the Methodist Protestant church to become the United Methodist churches in 1968.
