Located within Riverside Park are two Civil War monuments located out in an open, grassy area. This particular monument contains a concrete base with a plaque that reads:

MEMORIAL
TO OUR FATHERS
Julia Dent Grant Tent No. 10
Daughters of Union Veterans
of the
1861 - CIVIL WAR - 1865
GRANTS PASS ORE.
JUNE 14, 1931

The plaque is a nice reminder of the appreciation that civilians had many years ago for our forefathers who fought for the Union.
