This Civil War memorial is located within Riverside Park.

Located within Riverside Park are two Civil War monuments located out in an open, grassy area. This particular monument contains a concrete base with a plaque that reads:

IN MEMORY OF

UNION VETERANS
OF THE
1861 CIVIL WAR 1865
ERECTED 1936 BY
SONS OF UNION VETERANS
OF THE CIVIL WAR
DAUGHTERS OF UNION VETERANS
OF THE CIVIL WAR

Unfortunately, the flagpole that was mounted on the concrete base has rotted away and been removed. I'm assuming it was made of wood.
