Das auf einer kreisförmigen flachen Erhebung im 13. oder 14. Jahrhundert errichtete spätromanische Gotteshaus ist der Heiligen Maria und dem Heiligen Nikolaus geweiht. Umgeben wird es von einem drei Meter hohen mit Bäumen bewachsenen Erdwall. Ebenfalls aus der Erbauungszeit der Kirche stammt der freistehende Glockenturm, der seinen Standort nördlich der Kirche fand.
Die meisten Gräber des Friedhofs liegen auf dem Kirchhof innerhalb des Walls. Der Friedhof wurde im 20 Jhd. nach Norden erweitert.

Built on a circular flat elevation in the late 13th or 14th century, the Romanesque church is dedicated to Saint Mary and Saint Nicholas. It is surrounded by a three meter high tree-covered mound. From the time of construction of the church dates is the free standing bell tower, which is located north of the church.
Most of the tombs of the cemetery are on the churchyard within the rampart. The cemetery was expanded to the north in the 20th century.
