This cut mark is on the side of bridge 162 on the Leeds Liverpool Canal.

This road bridge known as Williamson Bridge was built around 1796 when the canal was extended from Gargrave to Burnley. The cut mark is to the right of the outer edge of the bridge which is painted white. The cut mark is in excellent condition except the right hand downward arrow head, which is almost invisible.
