[DE] Der Katzenturm war ein Teil der Befestigungsanlage, welche im 13. Jahrhundert um Limburg a.d. Lahn errichtet wurde. Der Turm ist ca. 10 m hoch und hat eine Wandstärke von ca. 2 Metern.
Der Turm wurde im Laufe der Zeit teilweise zerstört und in den Jahren 1985 und 1986 wieder vollständig aufgebaut.
[EN] The Katzenturm (translates to "cat tower") was part of the medieval fortification of the city of Limburg a.d. Lahn, build in the 13th century. The tower is approx. 10 meters high, with a wall thickness of approx. 2 meters.
Over time, the tower was partially destroyed, but it was completely rebuild in 1985/86.
