Erbaut von 1871 bis 1881 nach den Plänen des Münchener Architekten Georg von Hauberrisser. Nach dem Brand 1960 wurden Dachaufbauten und Fassade architektonisch umgestaltet.
Für die Sitzungssäle schufen die Kunstmaler Wilhelm Lindenschmidt d. J. und Ludwig Herterich Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts prächtige Wandgemälde.
Built from 1871 to 1881 according to the plans of the Munich architect Georg von Hauberrisser. After the fire in 1960 roof structures and facades were redesigned architecturally.
For the courtrooms, the painter Wilhelm Schmidt Linde d. J. and Ludwig Herterich created late 19th century magnificent wall paintings.
