For the many people who choose to arrive in the northern city of Chiang Mai by train, this is often the first stop. Just step over to the tourist information office to get maps, brochures and other information about Chiang Mai and other nearby places.
Other services are offered including currency exchange and an ATM. There are facilities in the station and many choices for food in the station complex and nearby. Of course buses and taxis may be found here easily.
