Hellisheiði is a geothermal power plant and has several displays to show how the plant operates. Although there is a fee to see most of the exhibits, these minerals are located in the lobby and no entrance feee is needed to see them. The rocks are displayed near two drill bits exhibiting how the plant had to drill to lay pipes for the energy.
