At the Mossman Gorge Centre you will find an array of services to help you organise your adventure through the Gorge. Staff at the Visitor Information desk will assist you in planning your route around the Gorge, as well as book onto your Dreamtime Walk.
The art gallery and shop showcase the art and design of the local Kuku Yalanji people and leading Indigenous artists from across Far North Queensland.
Located in the southern part of the World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park, Mossman Gorge is one of the few places in the country that visitors can gain an insight into the lives, culture and beliefs of Australia’s Indigenous population and their connection to the natural environment.
Many visitors make the trip to Mossman Gorge every year to take in the beauty of its pristine rainforest, cool streams, towering mountains and the dramatic Gorge and to receive the warm welcome of the local Kuku Yalanji people. We had the opportunity to experience an aboriginal guided rainforest walk on a nature trail at Mossman Gorge.
Bus from the Centre to the Gorge: $8.50/adult, $4.25/child
Guided Gorge Walk: $50/adult, $25/child
