This one is a bit different in the usual theme, in that there is a Holy Bible where the Woodmen emblem normally is, and there is an accompanying footstone (not where it should be) in the form of a log, with the initials J.S.A. The family name, "Alexander", takes a rustic form on the base, and the inscription is:

J.S.
Alexander

Born
Sept. 1, 1856
Died
Nov. 29, 1905.

--

His happy soul has win-
ged its way,
To one pure, bright
eternal day.
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
