Located just off a short trail and on a boardwalk is a scenic point for birdwatching of migratory birds that take refuge within the Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge. There are three informative placards here that highlight the marshlands, grassy areas and croplands that are havens for different types of wildlife to include the White-face Ibis, Cinnamon Teal, Black-necked Stilts, Bald Eagles, Bullock's Oriole, White Pelicans and Yellow-headed Blackbird. Fauna include bulrush, cattail, willow and cottonwood trees.
