Steag-Zentrale was built from 1956 to 1960 as an office block in the southquarter of Essen.
The architect was Egon Eiermann (* 29. September 1904 in Neuendorf; † 19. Juli 1970 in Baden-Baden).
Most remarkable is the facade of this building with black, ceramic tiles and outside flush mounted windows.
