The paint is beginning to oxidize on this old pumper, telling us that it's about time someone adopted the truck and gave it some well deserved TLC. The sign on the door says that the truck was last used by the Tahoe Fire District. Given its location, possibly it has already been adopted by the Fortine-Stryker-Trego Fire Department and is simply awaiting some overdue attention.
This truck looks to be about a late 50s, early 60s pumper and still has all its accessories; siren, rotating red light, hose reel, side warning lights, spot lights, side mirrors, etc. The pumper is so close to complete that it would make a great restoration project.
