They do, however, make note of their being pet friendly on their
Website.. Their being pet friendly, especially dog friendly, is actually to be expected as they cater to hunters and fisherpersons.
We stayed three nights at
Benny's, solely on the recommendation of several of the locals. Strange that the locals would know so much about a local motel, but it turns out they were correct. It's a good motel and has reasonable prices.
If one should wonder why a fish was chosen as the target for the remake of the mail box out front, that wonder will dissipate immediately upon entering the lobby. The walls are
covered with various species of fish. Seems Benny was a bit of a fisherman and has had some of his thousands of catches mounted and hung at the motel. There are dozens and dozens of varieties, from small sea trout to huge marlin. It's a veritable
fish museum!!!
This motel is definitely a fisherperson's delight, with enough aquatic life mounted on the walls to keep the interest of avid fisher-people for hours. The motel itself is priced reasonably, in line with the competition, really clean and manned by pleasant and able staff.
