A local landmark the Valley Trail Covered Bridge links the main part of Sun Peaks to the residential areas on the other side of the valley. This is a pedestrian only bridge.

This wooden covered bridge crosses a small creek. It is about 100 feet in length is well used by skiers accessing the Mt Morrisey downhill ski area. During the summer months the bridge is the primary way to get to the community's golf course from the hotels.

Description of Covered Bridge: About 100 feet in length and is made out of wood. It is a pedestrian / bicycle bridge.
