Rusty the Dragon was created by a retired machinist who had never made anything like this before (and will probably never again). Rusty was not his name originally, but after a couple of years, the sculpture felt that it was appropriate.

Rusty is 10 foot tall, 14 foot long and covered with metal scales. He is surrounded by bones of Norwegians who got a little too close when Rusty was hungry! Dragons do not eat Finlanders though, they taste too bitter.

If you can't visit him in person, at least visit his blog at MNdragon.com. Rusty lives in a private yard, and permission is granted by his owners to enter the driveway to visit him.
