This firehouse was built in 1965 to replace a tiny, old wooden structure, and serves the Hayes/Harlington district of London. This fire station is located near Heathrow International Airport, in an area of mixed industrial/residential/business use. The Hayes & Harlington Train Station is .8 miles NE of the firehouse, and Heathrow Airport is 1.8 miles SW.
The statistics of the individual London firehouses and available equipment is not published on any online resource that I was able to locate. There appears to be a ladder truck visible thru the glass on the garage doors.
The location of the firehouse is directly across from the Sam Philips Recreational Grounds.
