It is a large hall whose arched top (with semicircular wall) is found raised in the form of a podium which is accessed via a staircase. Both the flooring and skirtings were coated with marble slabs. Its facade is oriented to the west, towards the place where the square of the forum was found.
Thus the large dimensions of the structure, the presence of a rostrum, and airy character of the hall, suggest that it could be the law court, a place dedicated to delivering justice and a meeting point of merchants.
