EN: The house de Jaager was designed in 1921 by Rudolf Steiner for the family of Jacques de Jaager. The 1916 deceased sculptor had contributed to the construction of the first Goetheanum. The irregularly shaped house has two parts, fused into one another, but structurally and in color clearly separate. The larger, windowless red part includes a studio and rooms for the estate of the artist, the southern part, held in gray-blue, less high but wider, is the living area.

DE: Das Haus de Jaager wurde 1921 von Rudolf Steiner für die Familie von Jacques de Jaager entworfen. Der 1916 verstorbene Bildhauer hatte am Bau des ersten Goetheanums mitgewirkt. Das unregelmässig geformte Haus hat zwei ineinander verschmolzene, aber baulich und auch farblich klar getrennte Bereiche. Der grössere, fensterlose rote Teil beinhaltet ein Atelier und Räume für den Nachlass des Künstlers, der südliche Teil, in grau-blau gehalten, weniger hoch, aber breiter, ist der Wohnbereich.
