This life-size bronze sculpture of a Spanish - American War soldier is mounted atop a stone base inscribed on all four sides. The sculpture honors soldiers, marines, sailors and nurses who served in the Spanish-American War, The Philippine Insurrection, and the Boxer Rebellion. The soldier is wearing a field uniform with a slouch hat and is holding a Springfield Model 1892-99 rifle.
