This "you are here" map is at the eastern entrance to Russell Square Gardens, a beautiful park garden in Bloomsbury London.

The map is a simple map that is oriented to show the square with its edges parallel to the top and bottom and sides of the frame. North is about 45° clockwise from top centre. The area outside Russel square shows local roads and major buildings such as hotels and arrows pointing to visitor attractions. A scale bar is also shown that gives an indication that the square is about 150 metres in length along each side.
The inner part of the map shows the grassed areas as a light green tint. Paths are shown in white and the different areas named. The statue to the Duke of Bedford is shown at the bottom of the map.
This is not the most interesting "you are here" map that I have seen but it is clear, simple and effective.
