The plaque reads:

A young girl becomes possessed by the Mhondoro (lion or rain spirit). In a trance, she foretells the future rain patterns.

Little was found about the sculptor, Ndale Wilo. There is mention of his in an early group of artists (visit link) . Wilo passed in 2001.
