This water tower, we suppose, serves at least triple duty for the town. It provides the town with the water and water pressure the citizens have come to rely on, it serves as a landmark for the town, along with the remaining grain elevator, and it serves the town as its cell tower.
We had taken pix of several water towers before we were sufficiently observant to notice that some had cell antennas mounted on them. It turns out that most of them have cell antennas. Many, such as those on this tower, are fairly well integrated into the design. It takes more than a casual glance to see them.
