Since movie director John Ford featured Monument Valley in several Western Movies in the 1930s, its sandstone butts have become known throughout the world. They are situated at the border between Utah and Arizona and part of the Navajo Nation as a Navajo Tribal Park. Especially impressing are the butts at sunrise and sunset.
The coordinates point to the parking of the hotel, which is also a good viewpoint.

Localized waymark sites (Structures, Landmarks, Businesses) should reflect standard waymarking visit criteria (Logs & photos).
