This Bismarck monument is sometimes called Bismarck tower by locals, but it is a cairn and not accessible like a tower. It is one the hundreds of monuments and towers that were created in a phase of great Bismarck enthusiasm in the late 19th century in Germany. This monument was created by Fridolin Dietsche and inaugurated on October 4, 1896.
It has a height of about 8 meters and a bronze relief of Bismarck on one side. It is located on Seebuck, a secondary peak of Feldberg, the highest mountain in the Black Forest.
