War memorial for Navarro County servicemen who died during WW I, WWII, Korea or Vietnam. Though many women from Navarro County have answered the call to serve their country in times of war none were actually killed in action.

The black granite War Memorial located on the northwest corner of the Navarro County courthouse lawn. To raise money for the monument, 3000 bricks were sold for $50 each by the NCWM committee. The bricks have the names of Navarro County residents who served in the armed forces.

Who Put it Here?: The Navarro County War Memorial Committee
Description of Memorial:
It is on the Northwest corner of the Navarro County Courthouse lawn. It is four black marble columns with a top and bottom lintel. One the front side is artwork. On the backside are the names of those who died in their country's service.
