The church continues to service its parishioners on the first Sunday of the month at 9am as well as Easter Day & Christmas Day.
A Historical Walk plaque on the footpath states in part that the foundation stone was laid 21st March 1878 by the wife of the Bishop of Goulburn. Below the foundation stone was laid a bottle that contained an 1878 Queen Victoria three penny, a copy of the Australian Churchman & a piece of parchment, the wording on which can be read on the plaque.
The church, designed by architect Rev. Canon Soares, is built of local sandstone & the original shingle roof has been replaced by corrugated iron. There is a bell cote & extensive grounds planted with exotic trees.
I couldn't locate the foundation stone which is probably hidden by the entrance garden.
