This is a day use only park that doesn't allow pets. The park is 41 acres in size and has a 15 acre lake that is spring fed. One may fish in the lake or use any nonmotorized water craft. There are plenty of picnicking facilities, including a pavilion and barbecues, toilets, drinking water and an RV dump station.

There's plenty of open space but the largest trees are near the pond, with smaller trees scattered about on the grassed areas. There's a large parking area near the centre of the park and a war memorial near the west end.
