Charles Bulfinch Memorial - Boston, MA - Relief Art Sculptures on Waymarking.com

Inside the entrance to Doric Hall is a 61" by 28.5" by 2.75" bronze plaque contains the relief portrait of architect Charles Bulfinch. Bulfinch is depicted from mid-chest up wearing a coat which is opened at the collar to reveal a ruffled shirt. The sculpture was created by Herbert Adams and cast at the Henry-Bonnard Bronze Company foundry in 1899.

Below the relief is a short biography and a list of his major accomplishments. The plaque is inscribed:
