Marulan has many fine historic buildings built mainly of local sandstone. The amenities block has been painted in such a manner as to depict at one end a stone cottage. The other end has bushland scenes, a view of an historic former church now part of the local school & a world map (southern hemisphere) as Marulan is the only town on Earth through which the 150th Meridian passes.
There was no dedication but it is likely the local primary school painted it.
