A small plaque below the sign states that Tony Onions moved from Ireland, married a local lass & worked enthusiastically to improve the town & help the residents. He passed away in 1989.
The park has shady trees, open ground, a rotunda set with picnic benches/table, a children's playground, benches, a water bubbler & an amenities block covered by a mural. The 150th Meridian passes through the park with Marulan being the only town on Earth located on the meridian.
