The Barbers Creek Viaduct, built entirely of bricks in 1915, replaced a single span bridge built in 1868. The supports of the latter can still be seen beside the viaduct. The nearby village of Tallong was originally opened as Barber's Creek Tank in 1869 & renamed in 1905. The viaduct spans both the creek & the Highland Way (a main road). The gravel road services several farming properties & there is ample parking beside the viaduct.

I took the co-ordinates beside the viaduct whilst standing on the gravel road.
Bridge Type: Arch

Bridge Usage: Railroad

Moving Bridge: This bridge is static (has no moving pieces)
