"Barokní budova byla postavena v roce 1692 na žádost mesta jako útulek pro chudé ženy pro mesta Pribyslav a Polnou na pocest Panny Marie Sedmibolestné. V Polné byl podobný útulek zrízen pro muže. Svou funkci plnil špitál více než 250 let."

Baroque building was built in 1692 at the request of the city as a shelter for poor women of the town Pribyslav and Polná in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows. In Polná was similar shelter for men. Its function fulfills the hospital for more than 250 years.
