A granite obelisk situated at the end of an avenue of pencil pine trees was erected in 1920 to commemorate those who died in service or were killed in action in World War One, the names are listed on a bronze plaque facing down the avenue
The names of those who died in service or were killed in action from World War Two were added at a later date and are on two of the remaining sides
