The Willis Point Volunteer Fire Department was formed in 1976. The hall has three components: one section with two apparatus bays that's attached to the back of the Willis Point Community Centre, an annex with office space, and a separate shed with two more apparatus bays. The shed was constructed in 2013 and replaced a small, rundown, one-bay shed that had been nicknamed the "smoke house", because it had originally been used for training exercises.
