This scenic road between Torquay and Allansford along the south-eastern coastline of Australia has been built between 1919 and 1932. Since 2011, it is listed as Australian National Heritage.
Apart from the beautiful coastal landscape with deep blue sea, yellow steep cliffs and long sandy beaches, there are many spectacular rock formations to admire. The most famous of them is probably "The Twelve Apostles", steep offshore rock pillars near Port Campbell. There are also several shipwreck sites with interesting history.
