"Ponte situada sobre o leito do río Grande ao seu paso polo lugar de Ponte do Porto. Comunica as dúas partes en que se divide este pequeno núcleo. É de cadeirado e ten arcos peraltados e rebaixados. A pesar de que non se sabe con exactitude o ano da súa fabricación sospéitase que pode pertencer ao século XIII ou XIV. Posúe catro vans e luces entre 8,60 e 6,80 metros. Recentemente sufriu un proceso de ensanchamento para facilitar a circulación dos vehículos en ambos os dous sentidos."
