The placard accompanying this relief explains that it is a cast of the original at the British Museum. The type of bas-relief helps to date this piece to the 9th century BC.
Lighting in the Museum does not permit the best photos, but the relief depicts an Assyrian man holding separate objects in each hand and with a large pair of wings on his back.

Adult admission to the Museum: $7.
Monday - Friday: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday - Sunday: 11:00am - 6:00pm
